Finance Manager (8 hours per week on a 6 month contract)
We are a broad and complex organisation with many activities across a number of sites. This role is to support the CEO and the entire organisation in back-end administration, primarily for Finance and HR functions. The role holds significant responsibility, requires broad business acumen and is seen as a key driver of change.
The successful applicant will direct and guide activity, seek out improvements to processes/reporting and organise for their implementation, and provide strategic input from a business-oriented perspective to management. The role will also involve developing cost analyses for fundraising, assessing ROI across the organisation and forecasting income and cash requirements.
The person in the role needs to be able to direct their own work and have a strong vision of what can be achieved to improve accountability and reporting on financial performance.
