"We found assisting at cafe-credo a very positive experience.  It gave us a chance to talk to and assist people in very different circumstances from those we are accustomed to dealing with. We normally provide professional services to business leaders and multi-national corporations far removed from the cafe attendees who battle substance abuse and homelessness.  It is very easy working in our comfy office environment to forget or ignore these problems in our community. Although sometimes attending the cafe pushed our comfort zone, we found that the people we assisted were very happy that we were there and we left feeling that we had genuinely helped."

"Having gone on an Urban Seed City Walk has made me realise and opened my eyes to what is sitting on out back door step and you wouldn't really know unless shown. As the walk I participated in was during the election period it had a great impact on the decision I made when I went to vote. I guess it has really revealed to me that there are more important issues in our society that don't even make it to the surface. Going on a walk will make a difference just not in your life but in the life of someone else."
