Farewell Mark Pierson

June 28, 2007

The Urban Seed flag is flying at half mast this week as we farewell our beloved Executive Director Mark Pierson. The man in black is returning to Auckland after three and half outstanding years with Urban Seed. Mark replaced Tim Costello in 2004 and has led Urban Seed in to an extremely strong position whilst earning the utmost respect of all Urban Seed staff, volunteers and supporters. We wish Mark well and hope that he doesn't become a stranger to Melbourne. Mark will be succeeded by Gordon Preece.

Cricket with PricewaterhouseCoopers

June 19, 2007

The Credo Cricketers and PwC staff came togehter once again to play cricket, however this time it was indoor! To learn more about Credo Cricket click here.
We had a long game and shorter game and mixed the teams up so that there was an even balance of gender and accents! Jackie and Brent's team easily won the longer match with Jackie taking out 'best on ground' with 21 runs puting on a fine partnership with Kelly.
Doddy and Marcus' team had revenge in the second shorter match. However Ritchie and Ray had a chance to win on the last ball, but got run out going for the winning run... The draw wasn't good enough for these boys. Best on ground went to Doddy's team for all the No Balls which didn't allow Jackie's team to hit any runs!
