Credo Christmas

Our annual Credo Christmas celebration took place again on the shady banks of the Yarra. Being one of December’s hottest days, the traditional cricket match was met with less enthusiasm than usual, but it was a wonderful occasion nevertheless. Over 100 guests began the day with a reflective Christmas service. We distributed gifts of movie tickets, Queen Victoria Market vouchers and home-made Christmas delicacies. Our Credo Cricket team was honoured for a well-played season, with trophies and awards for best players. Christmas lunch was a smorgasbord of good food and we were thrilled with donations of Portuguese chicken and gourmet salads from Nando’s, as well as some Credo specialities. As the afternoon continued in a very relaxed manner, most chose to linger for dessert, catching up on the year. There was also the odd water fight breaking out!
