You Yangs with Goldman Sachs JBWere

Urban Seeder Ian Charles (Charlesy) hosted a group of people from GSJBW and the broader Credo Community in the You Yangs on June 30. Charlesy spoke to us about escaped convict William Buckley... the first anglo homeless guy in Victoria... and how he survived in the bush with the help of the indigenous people. When we arrived in the morning we did a scavenger hunt (for mars bars bush tucker) and then built shelters in teams of 4. After a fantastic BBQ lunch prepared by Luke, Amy and Rach, we jumped off the side of 'big rock'. Luckily Charlesy had attached abseiling ropes before we jumped. It was a great challenge for all involved and everyone had a fantastic day stepping out of comfort zones and enjoying each others company.
