Urban Seed Plays Role in Community Advocate on Gambling Appointment

Urban Seed congratulates Andrew Manning on his appointment as the new Community Advocate on Gambling. Urban Seed is proud to have played a key role in seeing this ground-breaking project funded by the State Government. This comes at such a crucial time given that it's the lead up to the Victorian Government’s State Licensing Review.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Cricket Match
March 02, 2006
The Credo Cricketers and staff from PwC got together for a BBQ and cricket match this week. We mixed the organisations in to two teams, Orange and Blue, which gave us a chance to get to know each other. It ended up coming down to the wire with the Orange team setting the Blue team a target of 108, thanks to some good batting from Cam and Chris. The Blues managed to get the winning runs in the last over of the day, with Ali and Peter holding their nerve.
There was some pretty ordinary cricket played but also some great highlights. Arash secured a run out that Andrew Symonds would of been proud of and Dante and Woodsy were smashing the ball to all ends of the park... it was truly cricket to believe in!
Big thanks to Carey Grammar for the use of their facilities and also to Amanda and Simi for the brilliant cooking and barracking!
