Homelessness Resource

December 01, 2005

The Age newspaper approached the Urban Seed Youth and Schools team earlier this year to write a resource on homelessness. With the backing of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Foundation, this became a reality. Samara Pitt has authored the project which was launched at Baptist Place on December 7 by Rod Quantock. Building on our engaging walks and seminars, this resource contains not only stats and facts, but addresses causes, legal issues and media representations, and presents case studies that go beyond stereotypical views of homelessness.
This resource has complemented the advocacy work we have been doing on homelessness issues in the lead up to the Commonwealth games.
Cost of the book is $15 for a single copy or a set of 30 is $200.
To order your copy or set call Samara on 03 9663 0699 or click here to download an order form.
