Urban Seed Fundraising Concert
May 04, 2005
At 7.30pm on Thursday 26th May, the Bearbrass Chamber Ensemble with guest director Christopher Martin and flautist Hugo Britt will present a program of baroque and classical music including works by JKF Fischer, JS Bach, Corelli, Telemann, Boccherini and CPE Bach. The concert is to benefit Urban Seed and will be held at the wonderfully acoustic Collins Street Baptist Church.
The performance last year by the Bearbrass Chamber Ensemble was a great success and this year will be even better featuring over 20 musicians! Urban Seed will receive all proceeds from this event.
Urban Seed is a small inner community organization combining street work in the heart of Melbourne with education programs and a strong independent voice on urban, social and political issues including homelessness, drug addiction, problem gambling and poverty.
