Ray Simpson Celtic Tour in Australia

Ray Simpson is coming to Melbourne hosted by Urban Seed celtic buff Brent Lyons Lee. Ray is the founder and Guardian of a contemporary Celtic Christian community, the Community of Aidan and Hilda, which is a dispersed global network of people concerned about spirituality for modern society. Ray lives on The Holy Island of Lindisfarne as a ‘post modern monk’, which is also where the community’s retreat house and office is. From here he facilitates a fresh cradling of Christian spirituality, through retreats, soul friendship, church workshops and the provision of resources. He is also interested in models of emerging church with a Celtic influence. Check out December dates and locations below...
Ray is the primary tutor in the Community’s Celtic Christian Studies programme, and a guest university lecturer throughout Europe and North America. He has contributed to the Open University’s current unit on contemporary religion and his most recent broadcast has been in BBC Radio Four’s The Long Search series. Ray is also interested in sport, travel and literature and is a well respected author having sold over 40,000 copies world wide. His books include:
