We’re a group of people committed to journeys of discovering what following Jesus means in the emerging culture of Australia today.
We’re also committed to gathering together for worship that helps us on that journey. Worship that is participatory, supportive of creativity, not afraid of questions, and connected to the realities of our lives.
This worship prepares us to better follow Jesus in the world, serve the people we meet day by day, and to look for ways of making our society a better place for all people.
The group who meet for our usual 5.30pm Sunday Gatherings are presently meeting to discern their future. Contact Christop or Virginia at the Urban Seed Office on 96504023 for more info.

Staff Evening Prayers: Tuesdays 4:30pm at The Den.
Credo Gathering: lunch community meets for informal worship at 11:15am on Mondays in Credo Cafe.
Credo Gathering is the weekly community reflection and coming together time of the Credo community. Credo Gathering times reflect Urban Seeds' foundation upon the Christian tradition, priviledging God as our as our source of life, and his power at work in the world today. We often draw on the bible to inspire us and guide us. However, we find great inspiration in other world views and the priviledging of other traditions, and welcome their contributions to our Gathering. At Credo Gathering we sing, pray, reflect, discuss and share. There is time for community news, prayers for ourselves, each other and the world, looking at the bible or other sources of learning, discussion, and personal and communal reflection. We also spend time sharing out the community's work of the week, symbolic of the fact that our work is as much a part of our worship to God as our Gathering time, and well as a significant way of building community. Credo Gathering is contextualised within our mission work amongst those at the margins of life in the Melbourne CBD. Examples of this can be seen through the Credo Community Lord's Prayer and the Credo Beatitudes; a re-writing of these classic bible passages through the eyes of the Credo Community Gathering. Similarly the Gospel of Vic is a re-write of the Gospel of Mark through the eyes of a long-term Credo luncher and Urban Seed staff member. Credo Gathering is at 11:15 each Tuesday morning. We also meet for prayer and reflection at 11:45 for 15 minutes each day before Credo lunch on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday."
